QUICK ANSWER

Searching “mixing engineer Miami”? I'm a mixing engineer based in Hialeah, FL — Miami / South Florida — and I mix for artists anywhere online. Being local matters when you want to record vocals with me in the room; the mix itself stays remote.

Here's when local vs remote changes the job, how booking works, and what it costs.

01 / WHERE I WORKWhere are you based, and who do you mix for?

I'm based in Hialeah, FL, and I mix for artists worldwide online. LC Production Studios serves artists worldwide online and in Miami / South Florida.

You don't have to be in Miami to work with me on a mix. The mix & master packages explain the file-based service.

How I put this together: my live packages page and Project Builder, read Nov 6 2026.

02 / LOCAL VS REMOTEWhat's the difference between local and remote for a mix?

For mixing and mastering, remote is the default: you send files, I mix, we revise by notes. Local matters when you want to record vocals with me in person.

Mixing stays online for artists anywhere. The in-studio add-on is for the vocal session, not a requirement for the mix.

If you already have a Miami-area engineer whose mixes translate and who knows your voice, stay with them. A Hialeah address only helps when the process and the sound fit.

03 / WHEN LOCAL MATTERSWhen does being in Miami / Hialeah actually matter?

When you want an in-studio vocal session with me. In-studio vocal recording in Hialeah is a Builder add-on on production builds.

  • In-studio vocal recording: Check the Project Builder for the option when you want to track with me in Hialeah.
  • Mixing still remote: Being in South Florida doesn't require you to come in for the mix.

If you're happy recording at home or at a local studio and sending files, you don't need the Hialeah add-on.

04 / WHEN REMOTE WINSWhen is remote mixing enough?

Almost always for the mix and master. Once you've recorded takes you're happy with, you can send the files from Miami or anywhere else.

  • You already have takes you're happy with: Send those files for the mix.
  • You're outside South Florida, or don't want to commute: The mix stays online.
  • You want published turnaround and revision rules in writing: The packages spell them out.
  • You'd rather spend the budget on the mix than on travel: Being in the room isn't required.
